The inpiration

I wrote YOUR PAGE for a very special young lady in my life. When she was sexually assaulted last year I found myself lost for words, and yet there was so much I wanted to express to her. That’s when this poem came pouring out of me. And what began as a love letter from one survivor to another, soon became a rallying call to all survivors. To reclaim our narratives, to raise our silenced voices, and to write the next chapter ourselves.

It seems fitting that the first poem I release into the world be one that means so much to me. I send her forth to you with my whole heart, soul, strength and might,

Esmé

About Eve’s Collective

Eve’s Collective is a fund supporting artists, healers and poets who are rewriting the story of human connection and love.

Cara F. Franson collaborates with artists-in-residence to translate their art into print through letterpress printing. This allows artists to connect to their work in new and physical ways offering avenues for deeper meaning and transformation.

A portion of the proceeds from each project supports the material costs for the next artist in a pay-it-forward, artist-to-artist exchange.
